Always wanted to follow your floral dreams and are now ready to start to build your botanical styling skills and grow your own floral style?
Want to build on the floral styling skills you already have and learn how to create some specific types of arrangements- like urns, floral installations, wreathes, garlands, or arch flowers?
Planning a special gathering of friends and want a luxury workshop experience in a beautiful workroom with stunning sea views on Waiheke Island?
We will work with you at The Wildflower School to plan a workshop to make your floral dreams come true…
You will be given a Wildflower tote bag filled with goodies… a linen apron, secateurs, botanically inspired gifts such as seed packets, silk ribbon, magazines- and beautiful course notes so that you won’t forget all the floral styling tips you have learnt. We will provide morning tea and lunch- and can recommend accommodation options close by….

Bespoke PICKING GARDEN Workshop
Learn how to make the most out of the flowers from your own cutting garden - or how to start a botanical styling business alongside your own small flower farm….
DAY 1: Visit our local Island flower farm Nourish Gardens. Wander down the rows of beautiful flowers- learn what are the best varieties of cut flowers to grow in each season- pick a bucket of your favourite blooms to take back to the workroom. Make a Farm Bunch to be wrapped in brown paper and a Gathered from the Garden style Bouquet tied with ribbon. Create a spilling over Garden style vase arrangement as a table centre.
DAY 2: learn how to weave naturally constructed Garlands and Wreathes from ivy and grape canes- and decorate them with fresh (or dried) foliage and blooms. Create a MEADOW style arrangement of flowers….either as a table centre or as a small installation piece for a ceremony.
BESPOKE PICKING GARDEN WORKSHOP
Our lovely student has a large picking garden…. She has been dreaming of expanding it into a small flower farm…and so we designed this bespoke workshop for her. She learnt how to create bouquets, table flowers, wreathes, garlands and “meadow” flowers. And one day she will be able to create these beautiful florals from her own garden/flower farm- and sell them to her new customers…
