Flora & Amphora Workshop

WAIHEKE ISLAND 2022

This workshop was highly anticipated- even more than usual!- as we had origianlly planned it to be held in SICILY in June 2020. Thanks to the pandemic it was sadly postponed until 2022- and relocated to our workroom on Waiheke Island. We included the Sicilian inspired craft sessions we had originally planned- lessons in mosaics using tiny natural stone tessarae and a perfume making workshop using natural essential oils to fill tiny handmade clay amphorae. And we also created Mediterranean inspired floral bouquets and table arrangements- and ate Sicilian inspired food- even though we were gazing out over the lovely Woodside Bay on Waiheke instead of the Med!
